Handcast Support
Handcast records first-person video of everyday manual tasks, with the motion data that goes with it, and uploads it to your own account.

account email and, if a recording is involved, the recording's name from the app.
Recording
- It will not start. The camera has to see both of your hands before a recording begins. Hold them in front of the lens. If you are wearing gloves and detection struggles, turn on Glove mode in Settings to skip that check.
- Stopping. Press and hold the red button for three seconds.
- It warned that your device struggled. The phone dropped frames, usually from heat or other apps competing for the camera. Close other apps, let it cool, and record again.
- The screen turns sideways. That is intended: recordings are made in landscape.
Uploads
- A recording is saved on the phone first, then uploaded. If the upload fails, it stays on the device and the screen offers Retry.
- Large recordings take a while on mobile data. Wi-Fi is quicker.
Your account
- Forgotten password: email us and we will reset it.
- Deleting your account: Settings → Delete account. It removes your account and your recordings, including the files in storage, and cannot be undone.
